Founded by a small business owner, for small business owners, the Northern Suburbs Business Network is an organisation dedicated to helping it's members find new business in the community by offering each other referrals, advice, tips and hints.

We all know how tough business can be, and the Northern suburbs of  Cape Town sometimes seem to be forgotten, with big business looking to the CBD and similar areas for their suppliers and service providers.

Whether you're a plumber, lawyer, accountant, doctor or beautician, you can benefit from being a part of a network that supports and assists you in your business venture.

What Does Membership Entail?

All you need is to own a business, big or small, that operates in the Northern suburbs.

Aside from the opportunity to meet and mingle with people just like you at our monthly meetings, you will receive  other benefits too. 

Instead of making it compulsory to bring business cards to meetings, although you are always welcome to, we're putting together a  members directory, in which each of our members business cards will be printed. Each person who attends a meeting will get a copy - which means, next time they want to refer someone, your details are on hand!

We're also going to give each member a listing on this site, and since we're going free, and local, it won't have to be a one liner! We can offer you a logo, description and contact details, all for free!

The site itself will be marketed by Tamara Aspeling of Caliente Media, an SEO and alternative marketing professional, so we should see some business from that too.

What It Costs

What's the one thing small businesses need? More advertising! What's the problem with that? Advertising costs too much!

However, it's also known that when you start a business network for free, it's members tend not to take their membership seriously, so, in the interests of keeping everyone committed, we're  charging  a nominal membership fee of R 50, which will be payable in advance every month. No forms, no waiting period - if you want to join, you pay your fee, online, and you're in. Want to leave? Just don't pay. Simple. Why complicate the already complicated world.

How Do I Join?

Because we're focused on local, and on simplicity, we're running all payments through PayFast - South Africa's online payment solution. Click the link below, sign up, and pay your membership fee - remember to include your company name as a reference, or email us proof of payment, and we'll add you to our mailing list.

Then send us an electronic version of your business card, and a blurb to include on the site, and you're done!  Simplicity itself.
